How do you know if your emails are being ignored or maybe never even opened?
I hate to break it to you… but you are at a disadvantage if you are not using an ππ¦ππ’π₯ ππ«πππ€π’π§π π¬π¨πππ°ππ«π when networking.
π‘ Let me explain.
Sales teams at companies pay for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track their interactions with customers.
Networking is very similar to sales since you are outreaching (often cold) to individuals and trying to build a pipeline of qualified βleadsβ. Instead of trying to sell a product/service, your goal is to βsell your story and valueβ when speaking to that individual during a coffee chat. β
Email tracking software allows you to:
1οΈβ£ Check if the receiver opened your email
2οΈβ£ Monitor what day and time your email was opened
3οΈβ£ View the number of times the receiver opened your email
This allows you to learn what content fuels engagement and if the lead is warm or not.
Happy Networking!

Note that you do not always need to resort to cold email when sending outreach messages for networking.
You can also try messaging the person on LinkedIn, but you must know the differences between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd connections and how that changes your outreach approach, as shared in the blog here.
